Effective: August 11, 2026
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Business Compliance Certification ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information submitted through our websites, forms, transactions, communications, and services.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Name and business name
- Email address and telephone number
- Business address, entity information, and other business records
- Information submitted through a business review or questionnaire
- Transaction and payment-related information
- Communications, service activity, and review history
We may also collect technical and transaction-related information that is available to us, including IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, page activity, transaction identifiers, and related security or fraud-prevention data.
How We Use Information
We may use information to process transactions, administer business reviews, prepare review results or certifications, identify potential business gaps, provide recommendations or resources, communicate regarding a submission, maintain transaction and service records, prevent misuse or fraud, improve our services, and satisfy applicable legal or operational requirements.
Recommendations and Optional Services
Based on information submitted during a review, we may provide recommendations, resources, or information concerning products, filings, services, or professional assistance that may be relevant to the business.
Some recommendations or resources may be available without additional charge. Other optional products, filings, professional services, or third-party services may involve separate fees if you choose to use them.
Service Providers
We may use service providers for payment processing, website hosting, communications, customer relationship management, analytics, document processing, fraud prevention, security, and other operational functions. Information may be disclosed to those providers when reasonably necessary for them to perform services on our behalf.
Mobile Information and Messaging Data
Mobile numbers, messaging opt-in data, and consent information are used to operate our communications and messaging programs and to provide service-related or other permitted communications.
We do not sell mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent information to third parties for their independent marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose such information to vendors that help us provide messaging or communications services, subject to appropriate restrictions on their use of the information.
Payment Information
Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors, including Stripe or payment methods made available through our checkout. Payment-card or bank credentials may be collected and processed directly by the applicable payment provider rather than stored by us.
Data Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information under our control. We may retain transaction, review, communication, and technical records for as long as reasonably necessary to administer services, prevent fraud, maintain business records, and respond to payment disputes or other claims.
Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of Business Compliance Certification websites, business reviews, recommendations, certifications, and related services. By purchasing, accessing, or using a service, you agree to these Terms.
Business Compliance Review
Our services may include collecting business information, reviewing responses supplied by the customer, identifying potential administrative, recordkeeping, filing, or compliance-related gaps, and providing recommendations, resources, or next steps based on the submitted information.
Accuracy of Submitted Information
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information submitted through the service. Review results, recommendations, records, and certifications are based on information supplied by you and may be affected by incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated information.
Certification
Any certification, completion record, reference number, review result, or similar document provided through the service represents the completion or result of our private business review process.
Business Compliance Certification is a private business service. A certificate or review result issued through the service is not a government license, government approval, government certification, or determination by a regulatory authority.
No Government Affiliation
Business Compliance Certification is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of any federal, state, county, municipal, or other government agency.
No Legal, Tax, Accounting, or Regulatory Advice
Information, reviews, recommendations, and certifications provided through the service are for general business and informational purposes and do not constitute legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, or government advice.
Optional Services
A review may identify products, services, filings, resources, or professional assistance that may be relevant to a business. Some may be available without additional charge, while others may involve an optional additional fee.
Electronic Delivery
Services and related records may be delivered electronically, including through web pages, email, SMS, downloadable documents, or other electronic means.
Payments, No-Refund Policy & Disputes
Except where a refund is required by applicable law, all purchases are final and non-refundable. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.
One-Time Charge Authorization
The price for the selected service is displayed before payment is submitted. By submitting payment, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and expressly authorize the displayed one-time charge.
You acknowledge that the charge may appear on your card or bank statement under the merchant or payment descriptor associated with Business Compliance Certification or its payment processor.
Immediate Commencement of Service
You expressly request and authorize the service to begin immediately after successful payment. Service performance may begin immediately through creation or updating of your customer record, delivery of access to the business review questionnaire, processing of submitted information, generation of a submission reference, preparation of recommendations or review results, creation of a certification record, electronic delivery, or other administrative processing.
No-Refund Policy
Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable once submitted.
The non-refundable fee covers access to and commencement of a digital and administrative service, including the processing infrastructure, review workflow, record creation, and related service availability made available following payment.
Failure to complete the questionnaire, failure to use the service after purchase, a change of mind, a decision that the service is no longer needed, or a failure to review communications or results does not create a right to a refund.
Duplicate or Processing Errors
Nothing in this policy is intended to require payment of a genuine duplicate charge or a transaction that was processed in error. Such situations may be reviewed based on available transaction records.
Transaction and Service Records
To administer the service, prevent fraud, establish delivery, and respond to payment inquiries or disputes, we may retain records related to a transaction where available, including:
- Customer and business information submitted at checkout
- Date and time of purchase
- Amount charged and service purchased
- Payment processor and transaction identifiers
- Checkout page, product description, and applicable policy version
- Acceptance of applicable terms and the no-refund policy where recorded
- IP address, browser, device, and access information where available
- Questionnaire access, progress, and submission timestamps
- Business review responses submitted by the customer
- Reference numbers, review records, recommendations, or certifications created
- Email, SMS, and electronic-delivery records
- Communications and other evidence relating to service access or delivery
Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If a payment dispute, inquiry, or chargeback is submitted, we reserve the right to contest the claim and provide the payment processor, issuing bank, card network, alternative payment provider, or other relevant financial institution with records reasonably necessary to demonstrate authorization, acceptance of the no-refund policy, access to or delivery of the service, and performance of the transaction.
Evidence may include the service description and price shown at checkout, the applicable Terms and no-refund policy, customer-submitted information, payment and transaction identifiers, timestamps, IP or device information where available, questionnaire activity, electronic delivery records, communications, reference numbers, review records, certifications, and other documentation showing that the purchased service was authorized, accessed, performed, delivered, or made available.
Initiating a payment dispute does not itself cancel these Terms or establish that a refund is owed. The dispute will be handled according to applicable law and the rules of the relevant payment network, financial institution, or payment provider.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived or excluded.
SMS & Messaging Terms
These Messaging Terms apply to Business Compliance Certification text messaging programs and SMS communications.
Program Description
Messages may include business review information, submission or transaction updates, reminders, requested information, service notifications, follow-up communications, and other messages consistent with the applicable interaction or messaging program.
Consent and Authorization
Where consent is required, messages are sent based on consent obtained for the applicable messaging program. By providing a mobile number and opting in to a messaging program, you represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the number, or are otherwise authorized to consent to messages at that number.
Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services where applicable law requires that consent be optional.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us, the services requested, and the applicable messaging program.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier and mobile service plan.
Opting Out
You may opt out of an applicable SMS program at any time by replying STOP to a message. We may send one confirmation message acknowledging the opt-out request.
We will also honor other legally sufficient revocation requests where required by applicable law.
Help
Where supported by the applicable messaging program, reply HELP for assistance.
Carrier Availability
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery may be affected by carrier systems, network availability, device settings, or other circumstances outside our control.
Mobile Privacy
Mobile information obtained through our messaging programs is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy above. We do not sell mobile telephone numbers, messaging opt-in data, or SMS consent information to third parties for their independent marketing or promotional purposes.
Program Changes
Messaging programs may be modified or discontinued. Material changes to these terms may be posted on this page or communicated through other appropriate means.
